Roehl Driver Check In

Manchester CT...My first drop really ###### up my mojo for the day and made me late getting to my 2nd....made it to the final alright though...but won't make my p/u time for my next load out of Cranbury...running to Jax....was told I could p/u after 10 hr break though.....
FYI if you ever deliver to Hamden CT...DO NOT take whitney to Putnam ave...that is one vicious turn...took me 10 minutes of delaying traffic while I backed up and fished the trailer around a corner w/out taking out a light pole...the local cop just sat there and watched...I seen him laugh...so I am assuming I wasn't the first to try and take that right...(BTW Dixwell ave is the way your supposed to go to get to putnam and a hell of alot easier turn...so much for Roehl directions)..

 

yeah I had one decent run to New England but it was a multidrop so it screwed up the rest of the week for me...my next run is to Jax..but isn't due til friday afternoon...so much for a 2800 week for me...more like 1500...WTF is going on in Marshfield...my miles have been hurtin for about a month now...

 

At the TA in Hurricane, WV bound for Hillsboro, OH in the morning.

 

Watch out for the Lizard!! Only time I have ever been approached was at that TA.

 

At Marshfield waiting for a REEFER relay! Doing a favor and it has good miles. Not sure I like the fact that this big white van will be chasing me. It has its own motor why do I need to pull it?

 

Everyone's miles are suffering right now, I have only had one load over 500miles since I left out on thxgiving. Weekly avg went from over 3k to around 2400.

 

I am in the TA in Seville, OH. Man Cleveland traffic was a ###### tonight!!! Took an hour to get down 271s. This place was a cluster too. Picking up a second load in Bucyrus in the morning. Gdnite.

Made it to my p/u this morning...was planning on being further down the road...but got caught up in Baltimore and DC morning Traffic took about 4 hours to get through it all and there were no accidents...I mean really people...grrr...oh well sleepy time..

 

unloaded 1st in Louisville KY then Lexington KY...waiting to see what the reload is going to be..
