I'm actually wearing my Roehl cape today. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to wear tights, boots (on the outside with the underwear), and my Roehl cape today..... Everyone is looking at me funny.notezbngrn71 Thanks this.

I feel ya I have to stop looking at this post lol most the things people complain about on here happen at every company, and the rest are because these people expect something for nothing and get butt hurt when it dosnt happen. I'm just not happy because I want my business to flourish and grow and that just won't happen here.notezbngrn71 Thanks this.

Roehl929 I wish you good luck and maximum profit in your new gig !
You remind me of my son, he is a O/O and hauls jet fuel.
Asked me for advice on first truck and it didn't matter what I said
He just had to have that 379 pete flat top and straight pipes and a big ole
Kitty cat. Not that there's anything wrong with that !
roehl929 Thanks this. -
Meltom can ya post a picture ? Would love to see that super hero outfit !

So, instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt, you inform us all that Roehl pays by the mile. Well, you blew him out of the water, huh? 0-1.
I forget the conditions but they told us in orientation they'd switch us over to the state minimum wage if something wasn't to their satisfaction.
Here's another one that hasn't been mentioned, Roehl charges 5 bucks for a cash advance. I don't know anyone else doing that. -
My company charges $10.00. Which is why I don't take advances.
-
OK, blows me away, "starter companies" are getting cheaper and cheaper with their drivers. I ended up advancing the company money to pay for scales. Who knows what would have happened had I not been able to use my debit card for the first time. I told payroll they'd have to get me back to the terminal so I could get in my car and go home so that I could draw money from my checking account and not have to pay Roehl's usurious rates. That whole relationship was a trainwreck waiting to happen.

So here is my exp...
I left in Sept. They ran my butt off for the last week of my notice. Truck went back to Gary. Unloaded my gear and left. Was paid for all miles I was due. Paid the cpm not an hourly rate. That seems like someones mistake. I've been paid for every trip to Canada. Any time I had a n issue over pay or anything I took the time to ask my FM and anyone I needed to. Now I was never issued a Roehl cape. Missed that line.
Does my exp mean Roehl is perfect? NO WAY!!!! Could that driver be telling the truth? Sure, but I would be talking to someone if I was ripped 600 bucks. Did he leave the truck somewhere? Quit under load? Not turn in gear? Give notice? As for the 250 that is if you stay long enough then you keep it. Without seeing that pay stub I can only have an opinion from what I know. -
I haven't heard about the minimum wage thing... not drunk on Roehl Kool aide....I don't drink anybody's kool aide, not even the Army's....His post smelled like BS...like every other butt hurt individual in this forum regardless of company..... and honestly if Roehl fired me tomorrow I would be upset...angry even...but I would just go find another job or go back to my old one...but would not flame them on this board....some people just don't fit in someplaces and some do... and i am with Hindsy..if someone jacked me 600 bucks I would be all over them like flies on ####...it doesnt help ya any when you flame them on a board.....
just sayin..
