Sent home from SWIFT school

the words swift and big truck shall never be mentioned in the same sentence.and large car is a bit of a stretch.

 

You just have to start from some where. With no exp. who going to hide you? you got to craw before you can walk and then run. Used those company as your learning tool. After you get the exp and the knowlege then you can talk the talk..these company like PAM, Swift, CR England are great starter company...grant that they charge an arm and a leg but you got to start from some where. I did start out with CR England, lease rite out of school never goes negative, so it is not the company that it the individual driver. Good or bad you, yourself is at the control, work smarter not harder I always say. Just my 2 cents, Thx.

Don't know about the others, but Swift charges the same, or less than, private CDL "schools." From what I'm seeing, the minority actually make it through Swift. They are not afraid to fail someone.

 

Injun, They should give you a raise for being "Mama Swift". If more swift drivers were as articulate as you and had half as much intuition, granted that is a lot to ask for a newbie, That reputation of being a (insert adjective here) would be all but non-existant.

Injun I'm with you Swift never did me wrong. I took school somewhere else though and got Scre$$$ed big time.

well i know i did paid way to much for them but i have them and never get rid of them for sure . i cant wait until i get my date to go to swift just waiting for the call if i go before christmas or not dont matter to me my kids are all growen up and my girl is ready for me to go she knows i hate sitting around and waiting when i could be making some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

 

oh yea you should be just rolling in the cash once you get to swift. You hate sittin around? you might be surprised on how much sittin around you do in the trucking busisness regaurdless of company. I'm sittin around now waiting for my 10 hr break to be up. You'll also sitin around waitin for shippers and recievers to load/unload your truck.
