Well I guess the holiday mile draw down has hit me now. I had 3100 miles this week and I won't break 2000 this week. Delivered in Hillsboro, OH at 0700 this morning with 8 hours left on my day and no load. So I sit at the TA in Jeffersonville until morning which means this week is shot.

I deliver in Brooklyn Heights, OH in the morning. Was originally setup for 0800 but got fm to switch it to 0930 since my preplan is for a 1300 appt 3 miles from my drop. Wish it was sooner, hate to burn hours since I'm taking the load home.

By the way if you get routed to fuel at the TA in North Canton OH it only has 2 fuel islands. Looks like construction. I have to fuel but am going to do it in the morning because I had to find a spot to park rather than wait in a fuel line with 2 pumps.

Picking up a relay at the Sharonville yard in the morning then headed to Auburn, Maine. Glad I brought really warm clothes this time out...LOL!

Sitting on the Ohio Turnpike rest area near exit 196 (?). Did the most miles I have ever and may ever do with Roehl in one day. 647 miles!!! Ran my 11 hours down to 6 minutes left. And I even took an hour long power nap in Chicago too. Man I'm beat. 400 miles to go to Philadelphia. Be there B4 3pm and then hope there's something nearby. Bad thing is I only have 32 hours remaining for the next 4 days and 2mro is another 10 hour day at least. See what I get for doing a favor! Time for bed.. Be safe out there.

I am at my favorite Petro in Portage, WI. I had a killer burger at the Iron Skillet and a nice hot shower. Nice! I have a little over two hours to my delivery in the morning, and then I have a second drop in the same town. Galesville, WI. I just started watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix. Great show! Time for a couple of episodes and then off to bed.
Stay safe all!!! -

What do you do when your miles drastically drop grin & bear or complain to management? Or is it a waste of time to do the latter?
-
end of year and beginning of year miles drop...so grin and bear it...I have complained to my Fm because for a week I was doing alot of short hops that did nothing for miles but ate through my 70 like a fat kid and cake....since then I have been getting longer loads...I have had 3 back to back 1k loads this week...if I do it right and get this load unloaded early...hit the jax drop yard and jump in my car and head to the pilot south of jax and get paperwork scanned in b4 noon tomorrow I should have over 3k for the week...I guess I will see..
