With regard to the poll . I worked for Covenant Transport and after my horrific training period I went onto the walmart dedicated account where I was quite happy and content. I had a good dispatcher and the fleet I work on was run like a well oiled machine. I helped 2 others gals who were students having difficulties like me get onto that fleet & we are did well. Here's the thing.... I would have never got on that fleet if I did not fight for my job and I chose to drive rather than go to court. That is why i took my story to the court of public opinion where I was not only attacked but frequently misinterpeted. I said in the poll to stay at walmart because if your DAC is now ruined you may have some carriers give you trouble to take you on and you have to put in a great deal of effort, time and money to accomplish this. I do not think you should try to return to training at Covenant Transport. I'd go to Swift where you know you will be on your own truck after you pass training and will not have to do 6 months of team driving with a parade of nuts in a place that puts forth zero effort to match people up properly in training, does not give students the emergency IRC number they need to have to get safely off the truck in an emergency and has a group who "colludes' with one another in the student fleet to make your life hell.
If you are fortunate to find a way into a fleet at Covenant transport that is run properly life can be a dream. It's just not too many find their way .

OOIDA don't care... I've been down that road already .. joined them & had them tell me 'well good luck with that'''" but I will tell you what... when I appeared on Dan Rather & their segments and those of WIT were left on the cutting room floor in the first program they were hot on the phone to the producers to get in there for the follow up show. "Oh yeah .. we agree, we agree" ... ask "Silver Surfer" Fred Schaffner from the American Driver how helpful OOIDA is until they smell free publicity

I went thru a company when I learned to drive a truck back in 2007. I went to work for a company out of Dallas at the time. And I do believe that it would be the E.E.O.C that she would need to contact.

I have had an excellent experience at Schneider thus far! Granted, I came here as an experienced driver and I only finished orientation today...LOL! But I have had two female friends driver for Schneider as well and they both had a great experience...they are the ones who encouraged me to come over to the orange side! Everyone I have met, office staff AND drivers have all been very polite and helpful. I brought a ton of stuff with me to orientation and when we had to check out of the hotel this morning I had drivers volunteering and helping me get my stuff to the shuttle and into the OC. I never even had to ask! It has been like that since I got here. Everyone is courteous and professional.
BabyGirl...you are far from the first female to have serious problems with Covenant and/or its trainers. I try to steer female trainees away from them every chance I get. Apply to Schneider and give things a shot over here. Don't let some Covenant jerk end your trucking career before it ever starts. Covenant has some serious trainer issues, especially in the training of females....none of which is any reflection on you. You will get a lot of great info and training here! I've been driving 4 years and no one had ever shown me how to set up a 45 degree back. The trainer who tested us TAUGHT ME HOW TO *PROPERLY* SET UP A 45 DEGREE BACK ***DURING MY BACKING TEST***. Most companies will just let you sink or swim and tell you to put it in the hole or go home. This guy taught me how to do it right, let me show I had listened and learned, and passed me. There is a real climate of "we WANT to help you to be successful" here...without falling into the category of "cheat 'em through and get 'em behind the wheel".
Schneider has my endorsement FWIW.

My father in law's brother is a narcotics officer. He said you have up to one year to file a police report within the county you reside at. The DA will determine if he/she wants to persue the case.

I think your emotions got the best of you ( rightfully so) by quitting. Safety would have been the LAST dept to visit. First thing I would have done would up the upper honchos there in Chattanooga. The list could go on.
What exactly was put on your DAC? Did you have any tickets, accidents or serious moving violations while training? Don't think for one second that your DAC is ruined for bailing on them while training. Even some minor blemishes can get you in the industry. It may not be with the best company, but you can get your foot back in the industries front door.
