Pacar MX Engine fuel mileage

Some of our customerare seeing 6 to 8 mpg.

 

How many of your customers are u seeing for repairs?

 

No major problems just software updates.

 

I put 5 T-660's into service this week and as Cowcatcher stated fuel mileage is ranging between 6-8 mpg depending on the payload and terrain. The drivers are happy with the driveability and the quiet operation of the engine. The unit with the lowest fuel economy hauled a load from Bowling Green, Ky to Somerville, Ma grossing 75,000 lbs with a reload grossing 78,000 lbs back to Morgantown, Ky. This unit averaged 6.0 mpg in extremely mountainous terrain. One unit recorded 8.1 traveling flat terrain grossing 68,000 lbs but as right now the units are too new to make an accurate evaluation.

Thanks Scania Man. I purchased the extended engine and aftertreatment warranties and always keep some spare trucks around in case I have issues mechanically.

at least with them being in a kenworth the trucks wont have all the computer and electrical problems that go with scania ,volvo and the halfcast macks
