I also like Truck & Travel, I know Pilot, TA and Love's all have free apps. However, for $4.99 for the T&T it lists them all even the independents. It replaces the which exit book.

Trucking specific apps:
HDT Mobile, Catscale, 4roadservice, scaleT2, Trucker Tools, Midnight Trucking, Truck Paper are some of the ones I use. I really like both the google and map quest mapping apps for a real quick route plan (I use online with my laptop for more detailed route plan and GPS while enroute). Google comes with the phone, but I downloaded the Map Quest version. Each has their own strengths and weakness'.
JotNot Pro is a decent, quick scanner program for scanning documents. The truckstop chain apps are good to have.
AudioMemos is a great little voice recording app that will automatically send recorded audio to any other system you want to back up on. There are different levels of the app, depending on how much features you want to pay for. One button click and I can have the phone in my pocket and recording away when talking with customers, law enforcement, etc. Even if the cops took the phone, the recording is already backed up on another system I choose. Oops, Officer, I must have just bumped the voice recorder by mistake.
Oh, unrelated to apps, it might be also a good idea to password protect your iPhone (or any other phone for that matter). With these new phone use regs coming down the pike, even if law enforcement took your phone to check it (unlikely), you do not have to provide the password for them to get into it. At least not without a court order. -
The truckster app is good.

Go to: mobile.truckstopsandservices.com using your phone's browser. It downloads the entire database and caches it on the first load so give it about a minute if you have to.
Make an icon (shortcut) for it on the main screen of your device if you want to.
Once it is cached you don't need to even HAVE a data connection to use it except to keep the fuel prices current.
It has truck stops, scales, repairs, washes, WalMarts, brokers, etc. Fuel prices for the majors are also built in. You can search around you or in other states and by highway/interstate.
And Google maps to the locations if you do have a data connection.
It's free. -
