At the time I was thinking of the phrase 'my radio is out of whack' or 'this radio is whacked', but you never know.

So you do have the knowledge and equipment to perform said service and I could count on it being expertly done?

P.S. Wouldn't it be interesting to start a thread on all the different things "BFF" could stand for!!:biggrin_2559:

You must have some serous coin to piss away if you're getting anything done by Radio Active. He's the biggest chop-shop out there as far as I'm concerned. Just about any other shop would do you better.

I had a connex 4600 turbo done by them and it would always have feed back after talking on it too long, after I sold it it lasted another 6 month and fried on the guy that I sold it to.I did not even make it a year and I made sure SWR was under 1.2 and every thing was to the battery. The radio went nuclear.LMAO

    Definitely avoid these guys.:biggrin_2559:

Based upon where you live, this would be the guy to work for you:
Rodehog Communications (Russell Clift) - 4329 Highway 65 South, Harrison, Ar. 72601-9487. Information source advises to use UPS only for shipments to this shop, as US mail apparently is not reliable in this area.
