tmc gives you a nice pete but have it set for 62mph the trucking industry is becoming a joke and everybody just sits there and lets the companies and goverment step all over them

 

well we drive bobtails intl ours when we got new ran 80 after a few months ryder sit them at72 thats a lot better than 62 i couldnt make time.and im in air frt and its very time sensitive a/craft dont wait.

 

I'm presently training with BTC. Couldn't ask for better people. They won't lie to you. If you ask a question you get the truth whether that's what you wanna hear or not. If you live near west pa or Ohio give them a call. My trainer goes home every weekend. Any other questions ask.

 

I worked for BTC for 6 mos before i got a local driving job. BTC is a first class outfit. Their service department sucks but the dispatchers are great and the company keeps its word on pay and hometime. If something happened and I had to go back on the road BTC would be my first call.

 

Your poll is mostly going to get responses from people that work for a particular company with no experience with the other companies.
I presently work for Maverick and have no complaints. I have read good and bad things about all of the companies including Maverick.
Each company does things a bit different.
What I like about Maverick
1. Excellent Training
2. Excellent Equipment
3. I choose my routes
4. I choose when and where I fuel as long as it is at one of their fuel stops...ie..pilot, flying J ect.
5. I get home almost every weekend.
6. They have never failed to get me home for an emergency or when I requested it.
7. Repairs get done immediately.
8. Health Insurance is decent
9. I get treated with Respect.
10. Excellent fuel bonus program.
11. My pay has always been correct.

Are they perfect...of course not. But other than the things that are just common to this industry....they have been excellent.

Most will get you home every weekend but you have to understand that some times extinuating circumstances will keep you out for a weekend every now and then.
