Hope they get ya load soon. I think I would be tired of Mr Hanky for a while after watching a whole season.
What does Roehl pay for detention time?
-
10 bucks an hour...soooo if I do all the paperwork right its gonna be a real big detention check...along with the canada border crossing so I should come out pretty good...the only thing that upsets me is that I could have had a 34 hour done if I would have just stayed in Jax...but it was a hot load
and needed to be picked up ASAP...evidently it wasn't so hot...cause I AM STILL NOT LOADED....
I have watched every episode from season 15 and a couple of others that I haven't seen...but dang it does get tiring...so I watch other movies too that I have on a hard drive (730 GB worth)...so I am fairly well entertained...plus I have the internet to mess around on too... -
Well after 16 hours of waiting..finally got loaded...made it about 6 hours down the road to SC before I called it a night...I am really drowsy and don't want to kill anyone in order to make a load thats already going to be late less late...screw what weekend dispatch thinks...I am not going to put peoples lives in danger when its already late cause of the shipper and not me or the companies fault..its just the shipper was waay behind on making paper evidently...
Oh and on a good note...I must be the champ at guessing where I am legal as far as weight...I slid my tadems and put it on the scale and bam legal all around and balnaced...I have only once had to reweigh but that was a couple months ago and I was only 80 lbs over then...so my streak is still alive knock on wood (btw the load was over 44k in the box and yeah you skateboard drivers can laugh..I know you haul more weight from time to time and hardly ever have to scale cause of the spread axles...) -
Mic u know for detention u have to go on duty every 7.45hrs to keep an 8hr break from starting. They have screwed me multiple times that way.
-
929, thats not right. I send a message over Q/C when my detention starts and when it ends. Doesn't matter how long it is. I have sat and had a 34 hr restart and got paid. Just need to send those Q/C messages in and communicate with your DM. You do need 8 hours +/-(can't remember now and not in truck) available to collect pay per drivers manual. They don't pay for the whole 34 hours but something like 10 hours, then 10 hour break, then back on detention.
-
929 we get all the excuses why we don't get our detention, i just stopped sending it in, the past year I have been paid just once for it, out bout dozen times
-
I keep forgetting I'm part of the o/o fleet they have multiple ways set up for us not to get it. I know for a fact that's the way it works on our end. Guess I'm a little dated on the company stuff seeing as I haven't been in a company ride for 2 years lol
-
If you are detained for 10 hours you do not get paid because that is part of your break. So technically I wasn't wrong.
-
True, but I'm sure Roehl is getting paid for your detention, wait sorry, "break" time.roehl929 Thanks this.
