Sadly i only have 2 months tanker and 4 months bedbugging experience so six months total=/ i know alot of companies require a year or two. Which is the problem im running into =/ I want to work and will work. But it seems all these companies that will hire new drivers are the bottom of the barrel as far as how they treat their employees. I did work for a small warehouse before i got my class a cdl's and drove 24 ft straight truck for years. And anytime my truck had to go to shop the company would get me a class b truck from penske. I told owner of company i needed class b to drive it he insisted i didnt so i just went with the flow. Thank god D.O.T never pulled me over in the rentals. I would have been up shizit creek lol

i am in the same boat , i guess we are not going to have our oportunity driving on the oilfields. no one is hiring newbies because of insurance purposes, and the companies that are willing to hired you are going to screw your dac report . i met a friend one he was earning 100 wk on Swift .:biggrin_2558:

Were not screwed man we just have to look that much harder. Its been rough at these companies. But i will not allow them to break my will as far as me getting into this industry My dads a trucker my father in law is a trucker. We will make it just cant let companies that prey on the new guys break us. I almost went the swift route sure glad i did not.

Guys there are lots of water hauling companies in Texas that will hire newbies. There's even some that will hire you without a cdl and teach you how to drive.

In west Texas. Start with key, basic, and nabors. They have lots of yards in west Texas. I would look up all the yards those three companies have out there and I gaurantee you one of them will hire you if your remotely employable.
