Did I miss something?Sorry, was just making a comment that I was proud of my newer truck. It too had a couple issues when I was seated in it last Tuesday that had to be corrected. My '09 Freightliner also had bunkheater issues.

Acccording to the qc message I got "After" I left Brooks is that the company policy is now for all DEF refueling to be at a terminal, and I'm suppossed to carry 2 jugs of DEF with me on the truck. Woulda been nice to know that before I headed out!

Clay, I was just pulling your chain. Enjoy your newer truck. I've had 4 new trucks in the past 3 years, they're not always what they are cracked up to be
I had a 387 with 450k miles that ran like a well oiled machine, all the bugs were worked out. I can't say that for some of the brand new trucks, a cpl of them were real lemons.

When the temps are dropping it says in the driver handbook to purchase blended fuel. I have never seen a sign on any pumps advertising that the fuel is blended. Can one of you explain to me a little better the rules on blended fuel and adding diesel treat to stop gelling? Thanks,
Dozzer -
Most of the fuel sold in really cold climate is already blended during the winter mos. Just ask the manager of the station if it is. If you are concerned about it, especially in very low teens or minus 0 temps, just add a bottle of the stuff when you fill your tanks. You can send in a money request and they will reimburse you with receipt.
