They will continue to lie to you to get you to accept loads. When they hem and haw just tell the person on the other end to tell the truth and they usually will. I lease (OMG) a truck and I turned down a load and they lied and lied to get me to take the load. I told them that I would sit for a week before I took their 75 mile load. Went to bed and in the morning I had a 1,300 mile load. Even if you have a good relationship with your DM, he will lie to you. It's a part of the job description I think.

Sorry you recall wrong. It is I who is Kraft Dedicated and I am loving it so far...
-
OOPS, thanks for the correction...

Great. i just took the plunge myself. Victor (DM in Fontana) was out for a month for wife illness and ultimately her funeral and they bounced me around between 4 or 5 different DM's. I was getting bad mileage and couldnt count on anything that they said either on qualcomm or phone. The message came up on the qualcomm and I took it. Slow loads so far, 455, 75, 325 miles so far. I hope this is not the outlook for the future. -
It's not usually, but it seems the closer we get to Christmas the slower Kraft is getting.. I am on a 260 mile run that had a 400+ mile deadhead.. Not leashing so not that bad of a problem.. Though after Feb 18th I may take the plunge.. I will have had a full year on Kraft on Feb 18th.. Unless they take a nosedive in the next two months I should be able to do well leashing on the Kraft Fleet.

It's going fine, slowed down now that trees are all done. my co-driver got lucky too, and her temporary local position was become a permanent position in a different branch of the company. So we're both staying with Central, and both staying local.Lady K Thanks this.

Wow, that's pretty bad. I know a solo driver at Central should easily make 35k annually, seems like you would make at least 5k more on a team. Hang in there trainees, after you have a years verifiable experience, you can make at least 50% more somewhere else and it's possible after 6 months.

Does anyone know if they are still shipping you to SLC for the rest of your training if you go to Conley GA?
-
I'm looking into going with Central and I'm planning on going to ATDS just north of Waco. Which, since you are from Katy, may be a good option for you. If you want, PM me and I can get you in contact with Diana. She's the one that's been helping me through everything and is extremely nice.

turboiline4, thanks but wife and I are schedule to start training with Central on Jan.3, was just trying to get some info regarding there training. Had read on here that they were doing some training in Conley then they were being sent to Salt Lake City, but those posts were a couple three months old.
