Recommended Accessories for Company Trucks?

not if you use it properly.....

If it has a safety latch, thats what the little thing on the back side of the hook it for. If it has to be lifted and pulled out....you just lift the puller then pull it out lol

You must be smarter then the tool to use it....

Sorry rookie, I should have checked with you before posting that.

If I can find a picture of the type of 5th wheel our old White GMCs have, Id love to see you show me how to use a 5th wheel puller on it.

 

They do. I have two inverters in my truck. One is a 1,500 watt for the microwave, coffee pot and toaster. The other is a 750 for my fridge, tv/blu-ray and all the stuff I need to keep charged.

All Central requires is you properly fuse the hot lead(s) to the inverter..

 

Most of those coolers are junk and don't last long . They only cool 20 degrees less than the air around them . If they are in a heated cab they won't get anything cold .

 

they are also good for keeping a truck running that has an idle control

 

A set of heavy duty jumper cables. I'm talking about the expensive 4 gauge 25' cables here not some crappy 5' low gauge Wal Mart special. Not a seemingly cool Christmas present, but my parents (lol bless them) got me a set many years ago when I was a newbie driver. I shut in truck off on a street one night while it was snowing in a rough part of detroit one time. Another driver was there but neither of us had jumpers. Had to call a service truck. Made a comment about it, and my mom worry-wart that she is, made sure I got a nice set of jumpers. I still carry them to this day and they have saved me a few times. Very greatful to have them.

 

A good basic toolkit from Craftsman is a nice touch. Cleaning supplies.

The Cobra 29LTD is a nice basic reliable starter CB.

If you're spending a little more money, a good laptop that will play DVD's is a plus. That way he can either watch movies or surf the web and not have a lot of clutter with electronics in the truck.

 

A lunchbox oven,,,,,,,big flashlight,,,,,,,nice first aid kit (with tylneol,bandaides,pepto (for bad truckstop food),non drowzy flu meds,
Sleeping bag(all weather).

A small crock pot with latching lid and some crock pot liners. He'll eat much better and save money.

Ditto on the laminated Rand McNally Atlas if he doesn't already have one.
