Currently I work for interstate dist co iv been here three years I got so called trained by swift lol have a blemish free record no accidents tickets etc this isn't a terrible co but things are changing not all good they aren't as driver friendly as they once were as like most co more for less
Been going thru this site it's really informative but discouraging at the same time there aren't any true good co there so I'm thinking picking up my family and moving to where the jobs are I live in a little town of 120 people love the small town life style but there are no opportunities
    Where I live
    Thanx for reading

How much miles are you getting right now? hometime? I work for a good small company with yards in Chino, Chowchilla and Tracy we are hiring drivers. Its slow right now but we run good after winter. PM me if you are interested.

Sell your house in CA, move back east and retire. That's what a TON of folks have done in my parents town. I know there are plenty of jobs in TN with local/regional folks...or there's always the O/O route if you're a hard worker and business savvy.

I feel you on job oppurtunities! I lived in Merced Ca all my life and with the cost of living and no jobs had to move. Since I've been in Denver I've never resorted to unemployment and always made 55 to 70k a year in trucking since I've moved here.

Are you sure you're looking for a driving job?

VT, ME. NH. and FL are the only states I know of that has hiring issues.

Small town = peace of mind and reduced life style cost.
