    US cabovers are ugly too.

really to build good looking cabover is not easy. anyway cabover is the four wall brick!

but some designers concider futrure cab to look like a front end of minivan) kinda compromice between cabover and conventional design.

I'll stick with my W900L...All of the europeans that come over here on vacation crowd around trucks like mine and say, "We don't have anything this nice at home!" and take pictures of the "magnificent American trucks"....When I go to europe, I feel sorry for the guys that have to drive those horrible, small, overly complicated little ugly trucks.

Ours in their day were not great, nether was the volvo f class of the sam
e year! Had a 84 volvo f8 and 10 freightliner coe. The volvo was made to
light! It made a good city truck but was not up to otr use! Have had both
And the is a reason volvo now makes us grade trucks! What eu has works for
Them but also what we have here works for us! Except your russin loads eu long
Haul is our short or regional. Apples to oranges.

I agree, I do not like to drive cabovers. I do not like to climb in. I do not like to tilt cabs. But really there are some advantages of COE desing so cabovers will be used for some operations.

Unfortunatly there was no truck lenth revolution in Europe, so cabover age is not done. And all the trucks for EU market are cabovers now. No choise

I understand this thst your w9 looksatractive ... But gow much of thode people are drivers? Here it would be hard to find 10 drivers in all country who will like to drive something like this .....hard to find driver who will anymore will to drive manual syncro gbox ...

Personallyi like classic us trucks but not aero new ....lonestar looks interesting like volvo as well

I had a couple of guys from Holland come up to me at a truckstop in Kingman, AZ. last year that were drivers...They must have taken a hundred photos and they both wanted to sit in "A real truck" and have their photo taken in it.

My wifes cousin has a company in Holland and has a few trucks that haul his products and whenever he visits here he is always saying that he wishes he could run trucks like our over there instead of the overly complicated european truck that he has that have no room in them.

From what I've heard it would be hard to find a driver in europe who would be skilled enough to drive one.

Again...It requires skill to use one.

It's funny because the Volvo and the Lonestar are two of the crappiest trucks on the road here....They are far from being "classic" trucks, Both of them are cheaply made, plastic junkers that are more comparable to a Freightliner that to a high quality "classic" style truck like a KW W900 or a Peterbilt 379/389 which are the only true "classic" style trucks that are still made.
