This isn't too bad. Most drivers seem to be leaving over elogs, which is no big deal to me. I'm not jumping for joy, and I mourn the loss of Glen Moore, but I'm not walking out. I'll give them a few months at least. See how it goes.

It is unfortunate that Celadon is the one to catch the heat from this driver. Glen Moore probably did treat their drivers well, but they were not able to stay in business. As for the Carlisle facility, yes it is congested during this acquisition but there is no way to avoid it. Our experience with the former Glen Moore drivers has been VERY positive and we will do everything possible to have each of them home for Christmas if that is what they choose to do.

I walked out fyi... The whole thing was B.S!!!! Guys getting let go left and right because of this and that... I was told I could come back any time... Nice but I decided to take advantage of some other avenues that are open to me. I will enjoy an Xmas Vacation and have work available the 1st of the year. I choose my career path... Not the other way around.

This is a mess. I am still sitting here since Saturday. First the pee tests were held up and now it is taking them forever to go through the files and get a DM assigned. If I don't sit there and stare at the people doing it, they pass me over. 4 Days mean no money. I was told SE regional was staying the same, we will see, if I ever get out of this place! I have all my stuff moved to my new truck. I have to say I am glad to see this new truck. My GM truck was constanly breaking down, had a water leak they didn't want to fix..UGH! This is a real cluster, I hope they move me tomorrow. I am tired of this hotel room!

I think lot of the problems I think could have been avoided. I think its to much for Indy to handle. Its seems that I was told things over the phone then when I got there I was told different. I got a different answer from a few people there. To add to the confusion these are not just running orientation and moving on. When I was there For the the first day of orientation they also had half the class in there second day. They would let people in class all times of the day that just got there. It really made the deal confusing. HERE are some of the reasons I left some are not that big of a deal. REASON ONE is THE MAIN ONE.
Forced dispatch to Canada (I was told as I was leaving GM Drivers did not count but would not put anything on paper stating that )
There routing only
48 hr layover before you could get paid
4 hr detention before you could get paid
The cost of insurance ( I know GM had very low cost and I may never find the same deal)
I really tried to go into this deal positive. -
I would be more then happy to talk to anybody From Celadon that is in charge of this change over. Just send me a PM I would give my number.
