The file you are looking for doesn't exist to my knowledge
All the MXS and NXS engnes use the same files. A file with a Personality Module Code or Interlock Code of 28 is a 475 Hp 1850 PT file. The latest file with a 28 PMC is 329-8542 -
Cat does not offer a 650 hp file. Cat only offers up to 625 hp and has to come from factory as a 600 hp to uprate to a 625. Cat will not let you go from a 475 hp or even factory 550 hp to a 600 or 625 hp. Trust me I've tried. Only way possible is to buy a blank ecm then you can do whatever you want as long as you got somebody or know someone who can and ain't scared too. -
Thanx for the replies guys, I'm sure I could get a 550hp flash from a dealership friend, I was also told by another friend that there are higher rated flash files, just he doesn't have them for this engine serial number

The 600 and 625 Hp ratings are the highest for MXS and NXS engines. If you want to lose Hp and fuel mileage over your current 475 Hp program then uprate them to a 625 file.
The 600 and 625 Hp engines use a different injector, camshaft, high pressure turbocharger, and lower compression ratio piston. When you flash the 625 Hp file in a low Hp rated engine they will be lucky to maintain the same Hp level and usually lose 1/2 MPG at the same time. The problem is mostly the injectors. The 600-625 Hp injectors flow 17% more fuel than the 550 injector, so the injector pulse width in the programming is shorter........short pulse width with a smaller injector = less power, regardless of what the Hp rating reads in the ECM.Onemanshow, W903B and Ashman_42 Thank this. -
Sounds like you've done your homework Mr. Haney, i'll pm you

and heres lucky number 7

There is the understatement of the year!!!!
Mr Haney what happens if you put 625 injecters in a 550 ACERT? Are the 625 turbos better? Are there any plans to make a better aftermarket turbo set up?
As always thank you so much for the time you take and the knowledge you share. -
To install the 625 Hp injector in a 550 Hp engine I would estimate that the power increase would be around 100 Hp.
The 625 low pressure turbo is the same between the two engines, the high pressure turbo is larger. You can install the 625 Hp High pressure turbo on a 550 without much effect, you may actually lose some throttle response. Now with a Acert with a PDI Stage 1 tune I doubt you'd notice any difference in throttle response, but may gain a slight Hp advantage. I've never seen anyone try this, so it's speculation on my part
