    I heard the HOS is going to change soon from what it is now, can somebody explain whats going to happen and how it will affect trucking.
    AS a otr looking to turn regional I was told it would affect me most

    It's going to effect everyone, particularly OTR's in my opinion. Of course it's not 100 percent sealed yet. The date is the 14th, and FIMCA is fighting this, so we'll see. There are many links pertaining to your question, so run a search. :)

    Everybody is on pins and needles waiting to find out what is going to happen and the bureaucrats being bureaucrats are taking their sweet ### time and waiting to tell anybody what the rules will be. Figure sometime between sept 7 to 14 they'll get around to announcing something.

    I bet they stay the change of HOS till its worked out
    Remember the DOT is way focused on enforcing the current HOS
