i'll send a rig up in march to see what happens. Texas is bad enough for me in the winter. but I am curious as to what the summers are like up there. over 100 degrees in Texas for 60 days straight is freaking stupid if you ask me.

$500. divided by 30 days = $16.67 per night. Good deal I'd say.

I work in PA/WV/OH hauling water, flowback and fresh. I can say I work very steady. I work for a small company all tri-axle straight trucks (they have more work for them than they do transports due to some of the roads were on). My thoughts on the whole "boom" thing are, You've got to make hay while the sun's shining.

Summers aren't bad at all up there, sleep with the truck turned off most nights, days were a welcome relief from Oklahoma summers. -

DO NOT BUY REAL ESTATE IN A BOOM AREA. -
Forget the weather, rates and everything else. How long can a man go? By that I mean working 130 hrs a week. Go out, run 40 hrs non-stop, take a shower, eat, sleep 4 or 5 hrs then go out for another 40 or 50 hrs non-stop. How long can the human body take that before it decides to shut down?
