Has it come to the point that we don't need to spell or punctuate correctly anymore? How does a person expect to get any respect if they don't have enough respect for others to show they understand proper English? But then....maybe they don't.....understand proper English.

Just remember, two things can make you an epic fail on the internet: invoking Hitler, and correcting someone's spelling, grammar and punctuation..

 

I give some latitude because its the internet but agree with you at the same time. We've become lazy as a society in this respect.
