I love listening to right wing radio too. I have to know what crazy lies they are going to come up with next. :biggrin_255:
Found Beck on a local station last week. Said corporations weren't people and shouldn't be taxed at all. So I wonder, if they aren't people and shouldn't be taxed, then I would presume that they have no freedom of speech either since they aren't people. Which makes Citizens United meaningless right?
I guess you have to be careful what you hear on the radio it just doesn't make any sense.

Sorry, didn't mean to bring politics in.. I'll be quiet now.

He was being sarcastic because the occupy movement says corporations aren't people. He actually frequently points out that corporations are in fact comprised of people.

I don't want to really get into a political discussion because I'm usually the only Independent, however I have to say this. I don't understand the attraction of Beck. He's been caught so many times twisting the facts and lying that you don't know what to believe anymore.

I for one honestly believe that 24/7 news channels filled with pundits will be the death of this country. There is truth to the adage that sometimes you get just too much information. Most people don't understand politics anyway and shouldn't be relying on the opinion of some pundit who is being passed off as a journalist.

True Journalism is dead in this country.

I usually have some straight noise roaring in the truck but for me there isnt nothing like some Fleetwood Mac to get me ready to hit the road, which I am getting ready to do. So yeah Fleetwood Mac is playing "Gypsy"

listened to the turbo whine, while going through chi town...don't like having the radio on in traffic...too distracting... but I kind of like the sound of big diesal turbos (yeah I can't spell) its just kinda of one of my things I learned to love while playing army...(nothing beats the whine of an M1)....
