I don't let my coordinator just commit me to loads without my approval. I have a very good coordinator but still watch board like a hawk.

After four months of him not saying anything it does seem very possible. I have his number somewhere, if I can find it I'll try calling.

Are we supposed to call in, while home for the holidays?
How many Mercer drivers stay home between christmas and the new year?

I've been "home" all but one weekend since June, of course that's my "second" home here in PA. Now my IFTA and permits all went to my house in NC and I need them by Jan 1. May need to drive down there just to grab those if I can't get them sent to me ASAP. I was planning on heading west next week, but without the paperwork can't do it. I figured take the week off before Christmas and skip all the insane traffic, then drive next week when most drivers want to be home anyway. Maybe a bit easier to find a good load, and parking too.

No you dont have to call in when at home (unless your loaded and even then not on the weekends).. I was going to go back out next week but it does not look like the shippers in my area want to move anything until after the 1st. Red Just posted on Mercers facebook page last week about getting new tires and using the national account.. So he is still around just not around here..
