We have to wait and make sure that everything gets covered tomorrow... Now you know there is no "I" in team... Where is your Roehl spirit??? It is just Christmas, there will be another one next year... LOL!!! Really, they need to make sure that they get as much stuff loaded and into the drop yards as they can so they have work for next week. I always take vacation the week between Christmas and New Year, so I don't have to deal with the sitting around. They do try to get as much stuff as they can, so that is why they keep everyone til the last minute, so just in case something pops up they can grab it.

    Sitting at HOME!!!!
Had an unload and then a pickup and drop at the yard today. My FM screwed up and left me on the Reefer board. Have a preplan for Tuesday. He is trying to get me off of it because the flat board has an oversize load that needs me. I'll know more tomorrow.

sitting at gary......I went over my 14 to get here:biggrin_25523: I had more than enough time to make it when I left milwaukee..but chicagoans decided they wanted to make 94 a parking lot at the 94 290 split so I sat there for 30 minutes while my 14 clock ticked away...then when I got to the indiana border it was a 15 mph drive to the gary exit..why I have no freaking clue...so naturally I went over...I called in asap and said why..they said what can you do you get stuck in traffic...no biggie they said...which is cool cause I was tripping balls over it for a little bit...
Oh, got my preplan load home once I unload in Flint...should be home by saturday...

Still sitting at the customer I delivered to yesterday in Kalamazoo, MI. Waiting for a load assignment. Got reply to my inquiry about 15 minutes ago that says there is nothing yet. Understand the situation but sucks that I'm 59 miles from my house, due home today and they're making me wait...ugh!

Sometimes you got to be impatient and directly ask... I used to give em till noon then tell em I'm going home. Its like they don't really care. They're going when the days over.

That is my plan as well. I'm gonna call at noon and just tell them I'm going home since they aren't paying me to sit up, awake all day and wait.

It doesn't help that I am new to this FM's board and he asked me yesterday, "did you ever pull flats?" Uh, ya! I don't have a nice silver ghost Racer for pulling Reefers. :biggrin_25522: Plus I have asked him everyday when am I going to get a flat load.
Of course getting me off the reefer board is like, we have no one to fill that load. Ya, right! There are a ton of van/reefer drivers in the area that could pull the load. :biggrin_25523:
