CA is the good boy state, or gal ^^^^.
Forget how you drive everywhere else. Put the cruise on and enjoy the scenery. Anyone that speeds in CA is playing with fire.
Wash that truck too. They single out dirty trucks for inspection. That was one of the first lessons I was taught when I started.

I've logged over 2MM miles in Cali.
No tickets.
you just have to chill, like the other guy said, and set your cruise.
Stay in the Granny lane as much as possible. -
Ok fellas, let me, if you will, advise here on some tips, when driving or motoring in my great state of California. #1. Folllow the law. #2. If you get a citation in California, you can always write the county judge a letter, asking him/her very nicely to amend your citation. This is done by calling the issuing county, and asking for a fax number so you can write the judge a letter for an amendment request. After your letter is sent, along with all your personal information (cdl copy, insurance and registration....yes the documents of the truck you got the ticket in). The county judge will reveiw, and will have a 99% chance of amending your citation(if you follow these steps). Next, you will shortly receive a letter in the mail from that court stating wich citations were amended by the judge and how much you need to pay. Just remember that by doing this you have admitted guilt, but will only pay about one fifth of what the origional citation was for. But if you fight it, it's the officer's word against yours. Then you pay the full amount...If you loose the case.
Jimmeyjack Thanks this.
