You sound like a hard working man; trucking can be the best job ever, or your worst nightmare. Most times whichever depends on you, but sometimes fate intervenes.
You can never take 80,000 lbs lightly (sort of a pun). Many things can (and do) go wrong and you have to handle it. It never ends. Complacency will kill you or others.
On a lighter note, just this morning as I was watching the sun rise in a fine clear crisp Texas morning, I was very grateful to be doing what I was doing: driving, and completely content. Home on Christmas eve, well deserved.
I'm glad to be home, but looking forward to more sunrises and crisp mornings and the comfort of solitude.
Be diligent in your research, and thorough in your questions; then you will know the answer. It's already there, you are just confirming it.
