***may Be A Dumb Question But Hey***

    I have a friend whose in training with swift, of course his recruiter lied to him saying he could go regional right outta school (I told him this was b.s. but he wouldnt listen). So now of course he wants to just get his cdl and hightail it to another company but they told him if you dont stay with them the minimum time they require they can take your cdl. Immediately by b.s. meter hit 100% but I didnt wanna tell him wrong, but they cant do that can they?

    As far as I know the only entity that can take a CDL away from anyone is the state that issued it.

    They can make it harder to find a job, giving a bad refrence, but not take it away.
    If they make it hard enough to find a job, it's a lot like not having a CDL.

    Not a chance in Hell they can do that.

    But the will make him pay for all the training a soon as he walks and its probably not gonna be cheep
