They do not rebuilt them. They also highly recommend for you to have the reman unit done and you can send your unit back to SSS as core.

Name of the company that sell the reman units. U buy the reman unit from them, they send it tO the micro, micro does it, send you
Back the unit, you take your unit Off and send it
To SSS as the core charge and install the
Reman onto your truck. I believe
SSS is the name of the company that SEL the reman units. They do not rebuild. -
10-4, thanks.

About microblue used in racing (from Speedtalk board): We have had no problems with them, and they have held up fine. As for benefits, I think it's one of those things that while the idea is good, the reduction in lap time from it alone is so small as to be unmeasurable.

You got this from a quarter midget forum that the same poster you quoted also later posted this: (Speedtalk forum)
Take a look at the entire drive train with an eye to reducing friction. This may be the area with the biggest gains possible, assuming you already have a fairly stout engine. There are large gains possible in just the pinion and ring gear interface. Hint: REM process, Micro-Blue bearings, Tiger Rear End Co.
Keep in mind racing is about finding a competitive advantage that you don't advertize or steer your competition away from it. You would have known this if you had any racing experience.
If you want some reviews from truck drivers with MicroBlue Experience in the MicroBlue Users Group on Kevin Rutherford's website:
-
Kevin Rutherford, yeah right.. Add Bruce M to that also.
I have racing experience but we give advice and help to other racers to get our trucks faster.
Read carefully, it says: pinion and ring gear interface , no bearing.
I didn't find your quote from speedtalk.
buy a magnet, it also saves fuel http://fuelmagnet.net/testimonials.htm -
What part of "MicroBlue Bearings" did you miss in that quote along with "the entire drivetrain"?
Those posters on Rutherford's forum are still truckers that actually own trucks and not on a quarter midget forum where Dad's are discussing their kid's quarter midget. -
I didn't found it from speedtalk site. What is quarter midget forum?
Yeah, truckers are usually the technically smartest people around. -
On my tranny I went through Superior Truck Service who uses OverDrive in the Charlotte Area. Triple S cost was $740 too much plus they wanted a $3,500 additional core charge to play with that I did not have to do with Superior Truck Service.
If anybody in the Charlotte, NC needs a good shop with reasonable rates, I highly recommend Superior Truck Service who has installed all my Pittsburgh Power Products and MicroBlue Products for me since 2008.
Superior Truck Service 704-598-6243Magnum1 Thanks this.
