All teamster candidates have to take a battery of common sense questions before being issued a union card.
This explains why they typically feel superior to those "scab steering wheel holders" and non-Union idjits. They do allow a little bit of respect to anyone who is a member of OOIDA, the ASPCA, PETA, or anyone who regularly uses a service where you can pay your "dues".
Paying "dues" with time is not acceptable to Teamsters, you have to write a check.
Okay, back to my regularly scheduled insignificance.
No, because actually, the deer was a "Union" deer, and his local shop steward was there representin' on his behalf. Usually, what they do is suspend the deer from any road crossing activities until the investigation is completed (with pay), providing the deer survives the incident.
In the event of the deer's death, Union officials will rally to prove that the deer was under duress and trying to prevent that "scab" unqualified company from doing any more damage to the nations economy by "stealing" business from the Teamsters. Full benefits will be provided to the dead deer's beneficiaries.

Common sense questions like:
1. What's your name?
2. What's your birthdate?
3. Do you pledge to tithe $XX.xx each month to the Teamsters for the duration of your membership?
Have I got that about right? -
Run triple tankers in Wyoming. That's whiteknuckle.

I am saying that money motivates, I am saying that a well paid driver can and will do a better job to protect his / her well paying job. Fedex green logo are contractors and they are offered a paultry .32 for pups in Houston.
I will also be glad to match safety, attendance and productivity records from a well paid fleet to say Swift? JB ? Pumkin? Knight maybe?
Lets look at Walmarts private fleet and match their csa to an equal sized common carrier....or you can pick another private vs common carrier, your choice.
Money motivates driver...it's a proven fact used everyday in our business. -
And the video Injun? See the little word that says "freight" below the logo? Different division just like green.....I believe they are a a consortium of bought out carriers by Fedex when they consolidated their LTL division under the freight logo.
That logo runs on the old American Freightways ( bought out ) along with others by Fedex and consolidated under the banner.
The folks I'm speaking of were tied to the union vans and relayed the LTL at night. They were union drivers and ran the red / purple logo like the whole company did years ago.
So by all means...lets match a high paying carriers safety record to a common one of your choosing..... -
I think they busted the union or something when they bought American Freightways out. I am not sure they are union anymore. -
Every single day fed ex ground drivers whiz pass me doing 72 or more they're a joke

That's a no-brainer.
And it doesn't matter whether they are Teamsters or not. -
