My first year of driving, with Watkins Shepard

Well, today makes a year of driving...

Stats:
133,201 miles
$42,393 in pay
2 DOT inspections, 1 was level 1 and was put OOS for Emergency Cross Tubings being worn to 2nd color, 2nd was level 2(last night) and was given a writeup for rear tractor light out(this has been an ongoing problem, light has been replaced 2 times, including entire fixture and only today mechanic found a broke wire that caused the in and out functioning)
No accidents and only one ticket which was dismissed...
Over 170 trips completed
11 mths OTR and the last doing short line/regional which I love even more than OTR.

I am so happy I chose a great company to get my experience with and as long as they continue to treat me well, I'm here for the duration...

I would have driven a lot more if I was OTR the last month...I expect next year to be 10-20% more pay, that's my goal at least...In many places in the country, that income isn't much, where I live in KY, we can pay our bills, do what we want AND bank money....
