Hey pavel? I have a really good deal on some real estate for you. Out in California, there is a beautiful inland saline lake called The Salton Sea. . . I'll be happy to sell you some "lake front property" there!:biggrin_25513:

Glad u are giving him a chance, odd tho that his father passed and they were able to burry him over the Christmas Day weekend????

This week will be the real test for him as the holiday lines up again over the weekend, but this time he will have all day Sunday to recuperate from his hangover LOL.

Wait and see for the moment. If he returns to work, read him the rules and send him packing with his last check. You can not trust a man who will not call you immediately with any problems concerning your business. That said, you don't even have to mail him a check. If he abandons his job, Its his duty to retrieve any wages.

You sound like a nice fair person. But, you're setting yourself up for a big fall. Just make sure insurance is all paid up.

Every important phone number I have is duplicated on paper 2 times. One in an address book I keep in my truck, and the second place is a piece of paper I keep in my wallet.

I keep a spare (back up) pre-paid cell phone in my truck at all times. I can buy minutes at any WalMart on planet earth. Family death can easily be proven by bringing you a copy of the obituary in the news paper.

Of course family comes first in my life, my job comes in second. Absolutely nothing stopped that guy from taking two minutes to call you. Well, maybe except the cash in his hand. The liquor store he stopped at before forgetting to call you, and the multiple day drinking binge he went on. He ran out of drinking money and OF COURSE he called you, as he's now ready to go back to work.

    Welcome to employess 101.
