Congrats, Finesse1.
And good luck -
Does anyone know how many new drivers Millis hires per month?
-
Each terminal holds one orientation per month during the week between classes. Small groups, usually the class and 2-3 experienced guys. Low turn over in MILLIS. It's one of the reasons I came here.

Sitting in Albany til the morn. Came off vacation on new years eve. Picked up a load from Trenton going to Eden. Got to Eden Saturday early evening and sat there til Monday morning. No loads. Sunday night there were at least 37 drivers on the list waiting for loads.
Got dispatched this morning to pick up a load of glass in Lexington, NC to Albany where I'm at now. Not a good weekend at all so hopefully things will pick up now that the holidays are over. -
Hey Bear, don't feel bad. Whitey said the Cartersville terminal was full of trucks too. He waited all day for a load and got sent home. They told him to try again in the morning. Guess it is just that time of year

Sorry to hear things are dragging for ya bear hope they pick up for ya. Maybe ill run into, headed to Cherokee, Al. But hey its warmer down there then up here in the north
-
Yea it's not freezing, but like I commented on Baritone's FB, the wind is blowing like a ho on payday. I'm sure we'll cross paths eventually. Drive safe!

I was in Cartersville yesterday to pick my truck up out of the shop. It was full, but mostly dedicated and regional trucks. There weren't as many OTR as I would have expected.

Its that time of year when everything seems to slow down but they usually start picking back up around end of January mid February most of the time.
