1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I wasn't thinking quite that drastic. Just stuff like heavy equipment and large machinery. Stuff that hangs over the sides of the trailer but doesn't require several trucks. I wouldn't want to haul anything that big until I've been driving for a long time and have enough experience.

Me neither, too many other people involved.

We were referring to your average piece of construction machinery, that you could haul without taking it apart.

I liked it to when I did it. I rarely needed help to load except with the off road dump trucks.

I still have all my keys, and would still be doing it if only it paid better.

They call em that down here too. Oil field is where you'll find them.

Swamper, FNG, or the B**** word will also be heard. :D :D

Thats what I figured! Thanks for clarifying that for us!
I know that here in Canada the poor swamper puts up with a lot of stuff, but it seems that its understood that its part of his job!

My biggest was a Terex TA40, a comparable model to your Volvo. I think that thing weighed about 67,000.

One day, me and 3 other guys had to repossess 4 of those from a mine up near Hazleton, PA.

Mack, yeah when TMC pulls oversize, it's on a single drop. I don't think I have ever seen them pulling a DGN or an RGN.
