I am still here as well. As for others leaving, some have left due to personal reasons at home, some have left and returned because the grass always looks greener.

They're enjoying it for the most part, but i think they're ready to go home, lol. Too bad all they got to see was Laredo and the southwest, lol. It's sure been good to have them though. Pickin' up my last load in Phoenix in the mornin', goin' to Norman, OK delivers Thurs. am. Supposed to be home Wed. So we'll see if i get to drop it.

Mine was still set @72, but they've cut all the newer ones back to 68. But you'll go slower than that if ya' wanta' try to make any money. I stayed at 63/64 mostly and could'nt, although i had the worst truck in the fleet for fuelmilage an 07' Int. Eagle. The new trucks get better mileage, but the payment is also higher. But you really don't have a choice any more as there are no more 07's being leased.

Well yall, today was my last day. My two weeks was actually up yesterday but they were short trucks and asked if i'd deliver my last load to Norman, OK instead of dropin' it at the OKC yard, so i agreed. The whole process of turning in the truck was quick and painless, was outta' there in less than a half hour. I wish things would have worked out differently, my finances took a big hit. But at least i have a good job to go back to. When i get around to it i'm gonna' post my actual numbers from my settlements while at JCT, till then i wish all current JCT drivers the best of luck and a happy new year.

If that is the 1st question you need answered you are destined to fail. Stay a company driver. You don't have the mindset to make money running as an owner/op.
