Seems like a week file an unemployment claim, man do trucking companies come up with money the second they hear you might file a grievance w/ state labor board and try to get unemployment... and if this is how your treated after 7 years don't you think you might want to change to a smaller company that will respect the fact you want to have an income while employed by them?
Lack of trucks?

Get used to Carlisle while you're there. It seems like my home OC sometimes LOL
-
Carlisle isn't too bad unless it's this time of year, but may thru sept is nice. LOL

Well, I had to stop and get a hotel. I was going to try to make it, but got to Salem and crashed out. Figured i would stop and head on in in the morning. Ordering pizza now and then Im gonna hit the bed.
According to my DBL, this truck is one that a driver out of the Atlanta terminal had and they terminated him in Carlisle for too many preventable accidents. Apparently, there are still some personal belongings in the truck that Im going to have to hang on to until I get back to ATL. They DO clean these trucks before they give it to me, right? New mattress and all? Im not sleeping on a mattress that someone else has already used. Thats just nasty! -
If the truck has personal items in it i doubt it's been cleaned not to mention it's a holiday.
I'd get there and have the shop clean it and put the belongings in storage. Most OC's have a trailer they use just for this. There is no reason you should be responsible for HIS belongings. But since your new to SNI they may think you won't mind and will do them the favor. I try and keep everything i take in the truck to a minimum to be able to fit in a cpl duffle bags in the rental car. I will give any one a little advice i follow. Always keep a credit card or enough cash to be able to rent a car and drive home from anywhere in the US so if a company decides to terminate your employment you're not stranded somewhere. I always keep an emergency card just for that... Happy New Year
