I joined NASTC a few years ago and get cost plus fuel prices. They use the Fleet One fuel card, but you get their discounts. It is well worth the membership price.

If you don't mind, what's your average discount over the posted cash price. I'm giving NASTC some serious thought ... Thanks

Talk to David Owens at NASTC, Google that. You spend a day 8 to 5 with him, but you will be glad you did, Big Savings on a cost plus program, Most are TA's & Petro's & your not wasting your time in line to fill up at the others, trust me on this, you will thank me after you get on his program.

Yeah ... I've talked with NASTC. I have a fair understanding of thier program. Just looking for some real world experience as opposed to NASTCs numbers.

I am a hotshotter , 1 ton dually , i haul oversize mainly. Big one piece fibergalss swimming pools until the snow flies then its about anything else.

I use my debit card to buy fuel, some of the stations allow it to be used as cash price and some dont.

,,,,I hate having to go inside to prepay because most of the big pumps do not allow debit cards, What is a card that i can get and use at the big fuel pumps,,,WITHOUT having to go inside first !!!

I would ONLY use this card for fuel and would NOT need or get any cash advances on it. I would not need a card that does anything else except allows me to use it to fuel up and pay outside at the big fuel stations,,,,TA , fliyn J , Petro, etc...

Normally i use the small pumps out front when im empty , however, when im hauling a 16 ft. wide load, it doesnt work well fitting into the front of these truckstops or other small fuel stops ! THANKS

I joined NASTC back in September and have seen as much as .30 cents below CASH PRICE on the sign discount that will vary down to as little as .06 cents below, but it is still going to be worth around $3,000 per year in fuel savings buying thru NASTC's Fleet One Card that is suppose to be wholesale fuel price plus .05 cents.

I am set up to settle every Friday with an automatic debit from checking acount for the fuel I bought that week. Works great and all the TA/Petros along with alot of independents are on their list of fuel stops.

NASTC membership is $250 per year
Fleet One one time set up fee is $50
Fleet One monthly fee to use card $2.50
Well worth it to pay to save around $3,000 annually on my fuel cost.

    Good luck!

    MysticHZ and mikeshauling Thank this.
