I stayed with my tnt trainer for 50,000 then went back out with a flatbed trainer for 30 days. Happy I did now that I'm responsible for this truck. Which currently sits at 79,160 with only half a fuel load

45mph is when it hits 1000, or close to it

Good luck on that NOOB. Study hard and practice backing.. When you think you got it down pat,...... PRACTICE MORE. Start getting on the prime 20 thread also, let folks know where you are

Down shift to 9th at 45 mph, 8th at 35mph, 7th at 25 mph, 6th at 15 mph. Slip it out, rev a little and slip it back in. Just takes a bit to get used to the truck.

    ehilltex Thanks this.

    Ask my GPS...

Use the tach... as it drops to 1000 rpm. Your engine doesn't know anything about mph... only rpm. The speeds are good if you have to guess which gear to pick if you need to drop more than one gear.

    ehilltex and MikeyB. Thank this.
