If NON truckers that weren't desperate didn't go to CDL mills the BFI's wouldn't have any drivers .

 

You know, 30 years ago things wasnt so #### rosy in the housing market. Interest rates in the early 80's were in the high teens so just how did you weather the housing market collapse then, just starting out as a roofer and contractor?

 

NEVER advocate lieing on an app! Lieing on an application is falsification and grounds for immediate termination regardless of when the lie is discovered.

ALL employment bust be verified (and will be) before any carrier will hire you.

Today there is a MVR report, a DAC (USIS) report, a PSP score based on CSA inspections, work history, and contact to former employers to verify all the information you supplied on your application.

 

I don't even consider it a lie under this context - more of what I'd call a "players edge".

 

What is a BFI?

 

You must be new to this industry. Take it from me; no embellishing the truth will help you landing a job in this industry.

Be 100% factual on any app you submit for employment. The information you supply will be verified.

Criminal records from decades past are routinely dug up. Everything from minor accidents to traffic tickets are "discovered."

You have NO right to privacy in this industry. Your entire work, criminal, and educational history will be carefully scrutinized.

Lets not forget about Pre-employment drug and alcohol tests. We also get popped for random drug and alcohol tests from the carrier we work for while on the job.

Have an accident? You will be tested after the accident. Have an accident in your personal vehicle and have a CDL? Yup! You guessed it, you will also be tested.

This industry has no room for druggies, boozers, or liars.
