I was trying to say that I would of been asking my DM if there is anyway that I could swap with a different driver and actually get moving somewhere. Sitting for over 5 days would be mind numbingly boring.

I was not trying to allude to him to get moving and disregard the wind and light trailer warnings.

an even better word would be "PATIENCE"
Though, you don't want to become an ER patient, due to carelessness, caused by a lack of patience! lol

Nobrand, did you try to go back to Rawlins at one point to try and wait it out in a hotel room? Since the weather reports were saying it was going to be a few days for the winds to die down?

Nobrand, I feel your pain. Are you going to be compensated layover pay at least?

I don't really have info on layover pay under the circumstances, however, I would be asking for it if I were you. How many days have you been sitting?

You should ask for layover/retention pay. It's no fault of yours as to why you are sitting.
