    Good post.

    Driving during snow storms can also be very difficult due to the mesmerizing effect of just the snow fall itself. It takes a concerted effort to keep your eyes moving and focusing on different objects and at different depths.

    exactly what i was trying to get at but said much better. i know that the op's incident involved perfect conditions but even there a little fatigue and hypnosis can creep up on you

    Doesnt matter how slow the CRST truck was going he couldve just broke down in the road & not got his triangles out yet ect....The driver that died was totally at fault...Nightime but clear dry weather,lights on,slight downgrade?....How could he just run into the back of somebody unless he was asleep himself no disrespect but the 2nd driver was totally at fault..
