Tyson is right on the money there. I found out the hard way buy working for may trucking. They also do not have any Apu's on an of there trucks as they believe it will make them too heavy for the loads there try to get.

 

Well, thats just screwy as most states, notice I said most, will allow you a 400 lb exemption for having one on there.

 

It was the answer I was told when I ask while I was working for them. Either way best to find someone else to work for.

Hey brother, just want to set the record straight. I don't think I'm the best, I bring some very unique experiences to this industry and my 12 years of experience is not that of your average trucker.

Many many days of 24 hour runs and days and days without sleep or supplements to keep this trucker running.

I have run through weather that most shut down in and braved situations that would make most men cringe. I in no way think I'm the best there is but I know that when it comes to understanding and executing a run and both the professional as well as the technical side of this industrial there are few that come close to the perfection I strive for each and every day.

I offer my experience to each and every driver who may want to learn from it. I have made many mistakes but throughout my career I have strives and continue to strive for excellence.

Also, if you read my posts you'll realize I am a SELF PROCLAIMED SUPERTRUCKER, I live and always will have an outlaw mentality, but when backed by intelligence, it makes for an infamous combination.

Just to set the record straight.

I'll take your bet and am also a man of my word, so look forward to either getting a $500 bonus next December or paying up to a worthy adversary

OK I am going to do this in two parts real quick,
If anyone Knows of a Driver who has been put out by the sleep apnea thing with this or any other company You might want to let them know that there is a Legal Action in the works. As a Disclaimer I am not Part of this action I am just relaying the information.
There are a few people who have contacted OOIDA they are not just for Owner Operators anymore... I would recommend that they also contact them.... They will provide them with more information that I am not going to try to third party relay........


And Gryphon As far as Conway I will give you a very good friend of mine's phone number he is a victim of the sleep apnea and is now working at Conway he will tell you the inside scoop on them not all they are cracked up to be 7 days and only 1600 miles. Super Single tires all the way around on the truck and trailer, Says the dispatch system is ten times worse than JBS that says a ton in itself.....

Happy new years to you all. I'm still side lined with no date of return insight. So here I sit with no date of when I can get back on the road, and no money coming in. I hope to god that 2012 is a better year then 2011. One can only hope at this point. Have a few apps out hope to hear something this week coming up. Trying to be optimistic.

 

I wanted to say Hi to the JBS family out there. I will be flying out to Colorado tomorrow for orientation. Was wondering if there is anyone out there who might be starting orientation this coming week?
