    Hi all,

i have some questions maybe someone can help? i just got my cdl through cr england and my second day in the truck i received an overweight ticket. 5.100.lbs on the back tandems in utah port authority.

bad experience, first day trainer picked me up @ midnight with a headlight out,i told him about it and he did not know? wow needless to say i was very nervious. first 500miles i drove he slept i did all the coupling/pre/post trips. my trainer did all his pre post trips from the drivers seat.

i want to know how many points will be taken off my cdl,and does this affect my csa score?
my training coordinator says the trainer has to pay for the ticket? please help me with info? i got out of his truck and refuse to go back! thanks

Get that statement in writing, signed, and on company letter head so that when court time comes around there is at least something that you will have on your side.

[IMG] Not even the guardian of the Grail is free from its power, you know.

The 'Grail' has no actual power, you know.

    Symbols have no power.
It is only the entity behind the symbol.

For awhile it counted on CSA, but they dropped overweight from what I've been told. If that's the case, no points. It's also not a moving violation so it shouldn't affect your cdl. It will be expensive, but you can fight with your trainer and the company over that. In Illinois they slap you on the wrist until you get to 2000 pounds over and then it's $1.00 a pound retroactive to the first pound over.
