Roehl Driver Check In

I am at the Pilot in Kanona, Ny. I picked up not too far from here. Strapped and tarped my load and pulled around to get my bills and I hear hissssss. Got a fat screw in my driver side steer tire. went down fast too. Took like 2 hrs for someone to show up to fix it as I as in the middle of nowhere.

I could have gone another couple of hrs but I am fighting a bad cold my lil one gave me. I got a nasty chill from tarping and got tired all of a sudden. Figured it was best to call it a day. Gdnite all.

At a TA... In Indiana. Umm i don't even know where the heck im at. All I know is this TA is off i70 exit 59. Pretty empty right now to. Surprisingly. Got my first drop off at 6am in indianapolis in the morning and second drop off at 10a in Indianapolis oh.. Also got a preplan. Picking up my load in... Indianapolis. Headed to Lakeland FL. Gnight drivers.

 

He stayed in Marshfield last night..had the truck in the shop to get the APU worked on and then over to MidState for recall work. Still waiting fo a load this am....

 

Friggin downtown Nashville at a TA next to the Titan stadium... Last place I want to shut down is in city!!!! Oh well view is pretty so I guess that will make up for it. I'll tell you what I planned on staying at the pilot few exits back but they had the #### road blocked. I had 45 minutes left in my day and wouldn't you know it.. Pull back on 65 S headed to 24 E and I hit traffic. 5 miles took me 30 minutes. Almost ran out of time getting here.

 

Woke up in Cambridge, MD this morning to 14 degrees and 30mph wind gusts which created a below zero windchill. Bunk heater was working its butt off! The wind gusts made crossing the Bay Bridge with an MT trailer a little hairy too.

Anyway, at the Petro in Perrysburg, OH and then onward to Chicago for morning delivery. Afterwards I get to Gary for repairs. I'm pretty sure I have an exhaust leak under the sleeper that I can smell when the rear blower is running. I'm guessing its from my breakdown earlier this month. The mechanic had to take apart the exhaust pipe to get to the starter.

 

still in Jax....went to Lake City with some friends to go to the range...fired off about 1k rounds of ammo between the AR and AK and about 500 between my 9mm and 45...it was an excellent day of shooting with friends....sooo relaxing....
have to p/u in GA tomorrow afternoon and go to San Antonio....good miles..

how'd ya guess....I only got half the freaking route though...keep sending 16...have gotten nothing back....grrrr...oh well will probably get the rest of the route when I start moving...

 

Got a relay from this mornings debacle. I'm in Lakeland tucked up against a curb at a conveinence store. P/U in the morning in Tampa for a 2 stopper in Atl on Friday early am. Will be sitting just under 1000 miles Friday am. I hope they can pull off 15-1800 more by Tuesday.
