Got into BRF yesterday and dropped & picked up another load back out of Land O' Lakes. Finally got to the terminal around 2pm. Mike Millis did my road test and I passed. Was issued truck 7011. Not a bad truck! It has almost 800k miles, but out seems to run good. Had out in the shop last night to get the API to work. They got the h/c to work, but the inverter isn't. I'm putting it back into the shop enjoys morning. How they get it going soon. Excited about getting my first load and see how the truck does. How everyone had a good holiday season. I'll let you know how out goes.

Congrats GtownWing. I'm looking forward to getting into my own truck. Now all I have to do is learn everything and pass all tests. I think I need to go and take another blood pressure pill.

Wow time flies when you are running hard. Just read the last post I did on here. Now I know why I don't like to use my phone to post. I had trouble understanding what I was saying...lol I got my first dispatch on the 4th of January and made it to the house for hometime on that Friday. Marco sent me home with at load that delivered Monday in Carterville, Il so I didn't have to wait on a dispatch Monday. I ran from the 9th till the 28th. Got home on the 28th and will leave back out on the 30th. From the 4th to the 28th I've ran 9,135 miles. I'm hoping to get something Monday that delivers on Monday to help this week out. I've got 1800 miles in this week. Life has been interesting since I hit the road on my own and I'm loving every minute of it. Had a few problems along the way (had to replace a drive tire, had to have a fuel filter changed), but other than that things have gone pretty good. Had a few missed turns and detours that screwed me up a little, but it has been good. Stay safe out there!

Will I did get a run on monday from St. Bernard Soap. Did the double drop and hook in a little less than 1 hour. I thought that was pretty good. I was able to run the load over to Pontoon Beach and drop it on Monday. Got a load out of Unilever going to SuperValu up in Green Bay, WI. this was a live unload and when I was finished there I ran over to Green Bay Converting and picked up a load going to Cherokee, AL. This load had a 5 am delivery which was 29 hours from pickup. I ran down to Richfield and shut down for the night and sent dispatch a message telling them I couldn't make it by then, but I could be there by 2 pm. Got confirmation on delivery time and got it down there with an hour to spare. Did a drop and hook there and headed down to Houston, MS to get some furniture from Franklin that delivered the next day just south of Chicago. Did a drop and hook on that and went to Plano, IL to get a Menards run. Did a drop and hook there and headed to Lima, Oh.. Had a live unload at Menards there. After being unloaded headed up to Ottawa Lake, MI to The Tile Shop for a live load and it is going to Virginia Beach with a stop in Glen Allen, Va. I'm doing my 10 in Toledo, Oh tonight. Heading out early. When I add up my miles for my first month I'll post those. I will have 3100 plus some change by Monday. Hopefully I'll see you all on the road. Be safe!
ricrey99 and rubberducky68 Thank this.
