    Im sure u can.It's just different sheet metal u will have to replace.I removed my top bunk and built a shelve on each side and cabinets in the rear. I now have a place to put my microwave.Hard to believe no place from factory to put a microwave in a 72' sleeper.I'm thinking now about modifying my lower bunk from 42' to a 36' for more leg room.I have a 36' memory foam mattress in there now,with plenty of sleeping room.But I need to move the front brace back 6' to make it look nice.But changing ur lower bunk to a couch is something that will take a day or two to do it right.Good luck
