    in the spring my dads getting me into a construction company delivering backhoes and doing asphalt pretty good money its just this is the slowest time of the year for everyone lol

    YES U CAN, my job slow and on temp layoff. I'm getting $505 a week, it aint much but it helps

    Matt you should be able to Google it "File for Unemployment XXXX" XXXX = your state. As far as I know of, most of it is all on line now.

    I personally have filed one time in my life, 1987 I believe and will never do it again. I have also lived on welfare for 18 months while going to college,,,never ever will do that again either. As long as I can work, I will work.... If that means moving, than I move, if that means picking cotton, than I pick cotton.. Whatever it takes!

    Yea not going through the trouble I'm perfectly healthy to get a job don't wanna be a statistic bad enough I already am a stat as far as first year drivers things r there to help ppl who truly need it

    Unemployment is totally different than welfare. You pay for unemployment insurance with every paycheck. You pay half the premium and your employer pays half the premium. It is not a handout.

    Exactly...and unemp is temp...you can ride welfare as long as you want.
