ya, i may start one. i should be headed to odessa jan 19th.

 

my husband is down there today, got hired on wit United Rentals as a Mechanic. his GM said I pretty much have the pick of the litter there so to speak....plenty to choose from. After I get settled and the kiddos in school, then i will start looking.

 

Well... left home yesterday, have 2 more days dirving to get to tx... just got the call, start monday morning... plenty of work to be had it would appear.

 

have an offer to driver for an O/O pulling oil tanker for Taylor. its $250 aday with $25 aday safety bonus working 10 to 12 hrs with 3wks on and 1wk off. has free hotel and new trk to driver. wondering if this is good deal for working in south texas.

Might want to Google the "hotel". A double might mean you and two other couples. About $20 an hour before bonus. Not bad. Just make sure on the pay. Don't let anyone get 2 or more weeks behind. And in TX you can get state to make them pay. Probably will never have to worry about it though. Good luck.

 

pretty sure for now its single room. but the O/O is looking for a house to rent. i would be only #2 driver in tx the others are in OK.
