Sunco carriers

Can anyOne provide some info about Sunco. I've seen their trucks all around Lakeland, fl. I live in north central florida. Just didn't know much about them other than their all o/o. Any info would be appreciated. I searched for them and found old threads from 2005-2007.

Just looking for updated info such as if they give a good fuel surcharge, if they pay by the mile or %. If they lease trucks or if your required to buy a truck then lease it onto them.

 

Well, I was down in Lakeland the other day and saw a bunch of their trucks. Saw their all o/o's. Just didn't have any updated info, wanted to know if they were a good company. Only real info I found out from their website is their a regional company. They have terminals around the country but I believe their based out of Florida. Didn't know if they'd be worth trying out after I gain more experience.

Next time I'm down their ill ask one of the drivers. I usually get sent to Lakeland to get me home or when I come off hometime I usually go down there to pick up from saddle creek

 

I posted before is saw your second post lol. I was thinking about Landstar, I'll admit im sort of doubting my abilities to find good freight then haul it and have a load waiting for me when I get to the destination so I can get somewhere else. I'm sure I'll figure it out, I was told if I went with Landstar it would be greatly beneficial to me to have my own trailer rather than theirs

 

Thanks, yeah even If I wanted to go to LS I'd have 2 years experience since they require you to be 23 years old. I'm 21 so that gives me time to save money and plan my future
