You mean less boost right? If it tricks it into thinking it has more then it does why would it dump in more fuel instead of derate the fuel?

No, he meant more boost. It fools the ECM into thinking it has more air to burn the fuel than it actually does. So when you lay into the throttle at 0psi, the ECM thinks it's at 10psi (for example) and throws more fuel into the engine than it can burn, since it's really at 0psi.

Ok thanks...is it an 150 ohm resistor? And I just put it on my boost sensor, it will smoke? That's how it goes? Also who was talking about plastic bags over the fuel filter? How do you mean so I can try both.
    Thanks.

My engine is an 07 625 accert CAT, totally junk on fuel. Iam thinking of putting the 150 ohm resistor on my fuel temp sensor I didn't know if it would work?

A couple of tubes of Loctite in the turbo oil feed line is a nifty trick too.

    Aviation grade, though.

He said plastic bags over the air filter. Kind of like if I went, "I want to suffocate myself to death!"

"Put a plastic bag over your head."

Please just tell us you are trolling to try and make Haney spit his coffee all over the monitor.

Well, buckaroo, you ramp up the black smoke factor, I don't think you're going to be posting 10mpg figures on this forum in a few days.

i still wondering why u would want your truck to smoke??? just cause it smokes doesnt mean its got lots of power. the smoking doesnt look cool. its a pain in the butt to be behind some truck that covers the road in black smoke.
