The asset manager thing is not a rumor anymore but has been verified. I picked up a letter from Ops at Wilmer (addressed to us drivers) that describes the whole enchilada. Supersnack was correct in that this policy will slowly be phased in for Crete drivers over the course of 2012. Supposedly Schaffer fleet is already 60% transferred over to asset managers. I'm left wondering how freight is going to be selected for trucks during this transition. Are trucks assigned to an asset manager going to get better loads because the asset manager wants to have higher mileage numbers? Are drivers still on area dispatch going to get leftovers that the asset managers didnt want because it was unproductive?

My first full week back on National.

4 runs totalling 2359 miles and at .41cpm that's $967.19 gross. There was one load that held me back. I spent 7.5hrs waiting to be unloaded. I was fit to be tied with this large company. But I turned in my detention and will see what happens.

I am looking forward to a solid 25-2800 mile per week average. I figure that the next week or so will start seeing an increase in overall freight,

I forgot to add that I'm on a 770 mile load from Atlanta to Waukegan I'll. This one doesn't del til Mon am...so I've got plenty of time over the weekend.

This is where I wish I has a dedicated dispatcher and could get a preload...but I figure in time.

Yep, it was DVD cases out of Elizabethtown. I've picked up there several times in the past coming out of hometime since I live about 25 miles from E-town.
